1. Why and When was Suraht “Aal-Imran” reavealed? Revealed to Muslims, over a period of almost two, from the battle of “Badr”, to teach Muslims NOT to build concepts and expectations (such as that will always be winners in battles, regardless of the extent of preparation), but Allah (SWT) taught them with a practical and painful experience, that winning has prerequisites, reasoning, and preparation requirements. 2. When did the battles of “Badr” and “Uhud” took place in history? Badr: Second year of Hijra (migration to Madina) Uhud: Third year of Hijra. 3. Hammering the Iron while red hot is the example given to explain what? The method Allah (SWT) used to teach Muslims the lesson of not building unrealistic expectations without acquiring the proper reasoning by their defeat in Uhud after their great victory in Badr. 4. Banu Qaynuqa’a is a tribe in Madina most know for: Their control of more than half the businesses of downtown Medina. Also, they violated the treaty of peace (no aggression) with the Prophet (PBUH) which lead the Prophet to exile/deport them outside Madina 5. The great of Allah .. “Al-Qayyoum” means: The One Who provides sustenance and support for the existence of all creations, yet, He’s The One Who can stand alone with no need for sustenance or support from any. 6. We would be sinners if we ignore the meaning of verse #5 in Suraht “Aali-Imran”, which means: Nothing whatsoever, in the heavens or on earth, is hidden from Allah (SWT). 7. Implimenting the meaning and understanding of this verse (verse #5 in Aal-Imran) will: Limit people from committing wrong doings and increase the level of piety among humanity, which in turn will develop good communities 8. People who follow those similar ambiguous verses (Mutashabihaat) will cause: confusion, lack of steadfastness, and straying of hearts.
